Quick PSA: If you live in New York, I need to draw your attention to Prop 1 that will be on the back of ballots this year.

The proposal, in essence, would enshrine reproductive rights as part of the state constitution, making it challenging for federal legislature to overturn it. Notably, the amendment would also protect anyone against discrimination by “ethnicity, national origin, age, disability and sex — including sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, pregnancy outcomes, reproductive health care and autonomy.”

Personally, I think this is great as abortion groups have lost the plot and are surprised that they are being defunded more quickly than ever, so maybe we have a shot at least getting this done. Vote Yes on N.Y. Prop 1!
