::TONIGHT:: Join The Weed Witch x BreadxButta For A Special Pipe Dreams Series on Plant Wave
Making music with the power of botanicals + science
Dear coven,
Currently lighting some Papier d’Armenie—among the most beautiful and intoxicating French incense for discerning weed witches on a budget. It’s a first quarter moon in Scorpio, which is intense AF. It’s a good day for rest and personal development, which is why tonight I am hosting an incredibly chill event. Tonight, I will be joined by one of my favorite plant curanderas of all time: the one and only Lynsey Ayala of BreadxButta, a Brooklyn botanica specializing in wellness, art, and education channeling the power of Caribbean / Puerto Rican Brujeria magic. Think: CBD herbal smokes, weed lube, infused tinctures and honey. Beautiful.
ICYMI: I actually did a really awesome witchy feature on her for Merry Jane last year where she made an infused coquito for Samhain. Additionally, it should be noted that she is also a Pisces weed witch, so therefore we are clearly soulmates and living on another wavelength. A plant wavelength, actually, which is why we’re hosting a special IGTV Weed Witch event tonight to discuss her recent cross-country travels from Hudson Valley and the Catskills to the Emerald Triangle in California, recording nature along the way. It’s true: scientists have discovered that plants make noise when they’re stressed out, and actually can create music using natural biorhythms. Clearly we need to test drive this theory on different strains and see which indica plant has the most chill vibes.
Tune into IGTV at @breadxbutta x @itstheweedwitch at 7pm ET/4pm PT.
Yours,
The Weed Witch
